At this point, you may be thinking: "Ah, I see, a TLOC is simply a tunnel endpoint, and one TLOC is equal to one tunnel.”
Well, this is the point where it gets a little bit more complicated. Suppose we have an edge router that connects to the Internet. The router has one local TLOC - one that represents the Internet uplink. By default, the SD-WAN solution behaves as shown in the diagram below.
